Welcome to the Croatian School of Boston

Founded with love and vision by Irena Stanić Rašin and Irena Matulić, the Croatian School of Boston began as a shared dream: to build a welcoming home for our language, traditions, and people right here in New England.

Whether you are introducing your child to their roots, learning the Croatian language as an adult, or simply looking to connect with our vibrant community — you have a place here. We are more than just a classroom; we are a family brought together by a shared love for our culture and heritage.

Our Vision

"A New England where everyone, especially Croatian Americans, has access to Croatian language education including cultural programming and social and community gatherings."

Our Mission

"The Croatian School of Boston provides high-quality Croatian language education to children and adults across New England. We believe language is the foundation of our identity and culture is the purpose; through dedicated instruction, we connect generations, foster a deep sense of belonging, and strengthen our regional community."

Join Our Community

From classroom lessons and cultural workshops to festive community gatherings, our doors are always open to you. Dobrodošli!

Institutional Support

The Croatian School of Boston is proud to receive the support of the Central State Office for Croats Abroad, the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth of the Republic of Croatia, and the Croatian Heritage Foundation (Hrvatska matica iseljenika) in the implementation of our educational programs.
